In 1953, Harry Wilks bought five shares of stock in the Cincinnati Insurance Company. It was the beginning of a long career as an investor, lawyer and entrepreneur that would make him successful beyond his wildest dreams. But Harry's real passion lies in helping others to succeed. And for decades, he's used his success as a means to help them reach their full potential.

Early on, Harry established a charitable foundation that provided college scholarships to disadvantaged students. Their success stories have been especially gratifying to Harry. Later, concerned about the need for strong, ethical leadership throughout the country, he established the Harry T. Wilks Leadership Institute at Miami University in Oxford. But of all he has given to others, perhaps the best known is the Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park. It features 55 (so far) epic sculptures by world-famous artists, set against the rolling countryside of Southern Ohio. This non-profit foundation is Harry's way of preserving and sharing the natural beauty he's enjoyed in Ohio for generations to come.

In Ohio, Harry achieved great career success without sacrificing his personal passion for helping others. For Harry, the balance has been perfect.
