Ohio’s research and development institutions are working to solve some of the industry’s most challenging innovation needs, while preparing tomorrow’s aeropropulsion and power engineers to design reliable and cost effective solutions. The combination of these institutions and the support organizations will enable your company to get its products to market with speed and optimal performance.
Statewide, Ohio is home to more than 130 institutions of higher education, offering programs in Aeronautics, Astronautics, Aviation, Aerospace, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Environmental Engineering. The top programs produced 4,423 engineering graduates in 2008. The National Research Council ranks five of Ohio’s aerospace engineering graduate programs among the best in the nation. In addition to comprehensive courses of study to Ph.D. completion, four Ohio technical colleges host aeropropulsion and power related associate degree programs that form a solid foundation.
